DJs/Producers I Love

DeadMau5

I got to be an extra in his music video "Professional Griefers" which comes out soon.  I had an AMAZING time, and got to talk to him between takes.  Joel really funny, down to earth, and an incredible producer.  Just don't call him a DJ.  He's a level 60 troll.

Tiesto
My first favorite, Tiesto is one of the most well-known.  He has been working on music for decades and has a wide array of music to listen to.  Tiesto is also great in concert.  I've seen him five times.

Benny Benassi
"Satisfaction" will always be my favorite.  He's a fun live show.  I saw him in Ibiza right after Michael Jackson died.  It was a great tribute.

Skrillex
Former punk singer Skrillex is dropping sick ass beats.  "Right on Time" on the Bangarang EP is my favorite.

Paul van Dyk
I've had two of the greatest nights of my life at Paul van Dyk concerts, both in Cleveland and Ibiza.  I'm dying to go back to Amnesia.  Deadmau5 and him performed on Thursday at Cream.  I've been to that. Just sorry I was 3 years early.  I shook his hand...twice.
Super sexy picture!!

Who the fuck is Bailey Charmichael?

Every great writer needs a pen name. Bailey Charmichael is mine.

For those of you who know me well, you know i love to write. And if you were ever in one of my English or Communications classes, you know I'm pretty damn good at it.

Up to this point, I've only written essays and reports. I used to keep a diary, but now I can just spill out all my feelings on the Internet. I dabbled in poetry when I was younger, but I was much better at rhyming than expressing actual feelings.

I'm a huge believer in goal-setting. I firmly believe that writing down 50 goals, no matter how crazy they seem, helps you achieve truly crazy goals! One of mine has always been to write a book.

I love reading fiction books, especially "chick lit" like "Confessions of a Shopaholic" (fantastic book series, so-so movie), "Something Borrowed" (better movie, not as good a series) , and "Devil Wears Prada" (excellent movie, most people don't even know it's a book). I want to write something that makes other people feel the way I do when I read a great story. Lots of people.

I also think that writing a book will make me immortal. I have a chance to inspire people after I'm dead. How cool is that?!

Now that I'm almost done with the CPA exam, I need something else to aim for (at what point in my life will this need become a serious problem??)

So I am writing my first novel. I bought "Writing Fiction for Dummies" and I'm just taking it from there. I'm looking forward to doing research (if fiction doesn't work I'm sure I can write a great accounting book).

I'm working on my story, putting words on paper (screen?), getting people's opinions.

I look forward to telling you more about Lila. The normal girl who falls in love with a music producer. And struggles to fit in...to her new life or her old one.
